We found the house where our baby will have his or her first Christmas. And Paul and I think it will make a heck of a home.
But first, we have to pack, sort, measure, paint, stack, label and move.
So, it might be a little quieter than usual around here for the next few weeks.
To tide you over, I have some pictures! From a recent trip to the lost coast of Northern California for a very special nephew's fourth birthday.
We foraged buckets full of chanterelle mushrooms to celebrate.
And took many walks on the black beaches.
My niece and nephew whispered secrets to my belly, and listened for a reply, and asked a million times when, oh when will we meet our new cousin!
And they covered me with more hugs and kisses than any aunt could ever, ever hope for.
Yes, me and my belly had the loveliest time.
But now, we have to move.
So, please. Wait for me!
In the meantime, let's think about Thanksgiving, shall we? I'll be moved in just time to break in my new kitchen -- (baptism by Thanksgiving), and I need help deciding what to make. What would you make for your first Thanksgiving in a new home?
(And thank you to Paul for taking those bottom three pictures.)
